A friend just got one, she absolutely loves it. Her first Ford I think, had typically driven import near-luxury stuff previously. The pricing is great when you compare features, the Sport comes standard with every bit of tech that is available in a Fusion.

cheers

Yes I was surprised when I saw the curb weight too. When I had a FWD Fusion a few years ago for the summer, it didn't feel like more than a 3500 lb car., but what do I know I guess!!

Must be those heavy turbos.

Seems like a great package for a family car with a little fun factor to get you through the weekdays. I bought a new Sonata in 2015. It's a good package too but there is zero fun factor in it. Knew that when I bought it....too bad this TT Fusion wasn't available then.

I really like our anaemic 180hp Turbo 1.5 Fusion... Feels pretty nice, enough power for traffic... But this 2.7 seems to get the same mileage as my F150 lol

Looks like a sweet package. Amazing how some can be a bloated pig on paper but really great on the road.

The one I had for a demo was the 1.5 Ecoboost as well. Power seemed OK to me for a DD, mileage was fantastic, had it down as low as 6.0L/100km.

The 2.7 Fusion Sport is going to be a bit thirsty I'm guessing, especially if you're "enjoying" it.

Looked into it, interior is nice, outside looks about the same as any other fusion unless you know what to look for. It's slower then the heavier SHO. For entry German money I wasn't impressed. (46k I think when I looked)

That's Panther territory.
A fusion weighing the same as a Crown Vic?
Something wrong with that..

We have a 2016 fusion SE with the 2 l. 245 hp engine. We have 21000 km since new (bought new from Bill at Heritage) with every option except sunroof and the parking app. Very nice car, good milage (not great), very reliable, quiet and comfortable. fun to drive? not so much.

Why not spend a few grand more and get a Lincoln MKZ with the 400hp 3.0 and awd?

A few more? The one I sat in last week was $66,000 sticker.

I'm so happy you haven't changed your avatar in years.
It'll never get old.

Why not spend a few grand more and get a super-fun and cool Focus RS awd?

Fixed that for ya. The prices of new cars has gone insane, sad thing is, with that fusion after 10 years it's still worth very little, nice cars though, styling is getting a bit long in the tooth IMO.
