I’m fully aware I have issues when it comes to my cars and builds.
My dad’s been shaken his head at me when it comes to cars since I was 15 lol.

Nothing is easy when dealing with a 56 year old car and trying to find the proper original parts.
It took some time but I found an 22” rad and had it fully re cored from a 2 row to 3 with increased fin spacing for max cooling.
Real happy with the outcome and now it’s onto the next cooling system parts.

Chrysler OEM 7 blade fan located in Ottawa with direct drive spacer. Another hard score.
I think I’ll have to drop this one off at Flashfire once I get it for powder-coating.
Also the car never came with a fan shroud but I’m determined to put one.
It’s not cheap but I found a two piece steel shroud with hardware made for it that I will be installing.
I’m doing everything I can for this not to overheat cause the ultimate test will be cruising the strip again at Woodward Ave someday.
Those old mopars were sometimes a challenge to burp and get enough coolant in them, takes a lot of patience, in my experiences. Also consider an over flow can and correct radiator cap.

New rad cap came with the recore and it’s 15-16lb I believe.
Car never came with an over flow tank…just a hose routed to the ground.
I might install something though…it has the room.

Headers and mufflers returned after the Cerakote treatment and real happy how they turned out!
The black headers are gonna look mega with the green contrast under the hood.
I haven’t had great luck with Flowmaster mufflers lasting but I’ve also never had them in stainless.
I just had to go with the FM 40s for the sound.

for sure, they look great
Another piece of the Mopar puzzle arrived today looking a little rough but solid. It was dropped off for powder coating right after.
It’s a shame the white stamped part number can’t be saved but at least I know it’s the proper fan blade for the car.
I’ve seen the stampers for sale on EBay but I’m not that hardcore.
