Good running 302 ?

What should I expect to pay for a good running complete 5.0 engine ? Think I will buy a good running 5L to put in project ugly Duck till the last stage of the build when I will Have a Dart block or equivalent built. So how much should I expect to spend?

i picked up mine for 600 delivered with an engine stand..its a 306 speed pro forged pistons 30 over, f303 cam 1.6 roller rockers, hv oil pump, after market double roller chain and ported 351 heads. but i think i got a deal of the century though. A stocker should be around 400 i would say. you going carbed or fuelly?
