    2nd gen 3.5 Ecoboost F-150 will have 375 hp / 470 lb.ft of torque!

Big numbers coming from the 2nd generation 3.5L Ecoboost V6 in the upcoming 2017 F-150. 375 hp & 470 lb.ft. of torque, backed by a new 10-speed auto trans that is a joint design with General Motors. Seeing that, I think we can expect over 400 hp when the numbers are announced for the 2017 Raptor F-150.

The big man himself said over a year ago that the figure will be somewhere in the area of 450hp.

I have heard that some are experiencing problems with the time chains on these engines. Is this a real issue? If so has Ford addressed it and corrected it?

There are updated parts for the earlier engines. Some high milers, especially ones that have not seen proper maintenance, have had issues.
