New Ride and did a detail on it today.

Alright...my back is toast but the new ride is somewhat clean. Anyone who's knows me closely knows that I'm pretty anal and a car doesn't sit long if it's dirty. Picked up a 2 owner 06 GT in red with red leather and I couldon't be happier. The PO was an awesome guy and dropped it off at my place this morning. He spent a fair buck putting a ton of go fast goodies into the car.

    This is how she arrived.

The PO hadn't left 5 minutes and the car got a full soaking of ironx to decontaminate the paint.

    Then a bubble bath

Seats out and the entire carpet was vacuumed and cleaned.

Then onto the paint. I only did a All in one which turned out pretty good. The white strips held a lot of dirt whicheap came out great. You can see the left strip is dirty.

Heres a similar hood shot of the hood strips.

All finished for now. I realized when I looked at these pics my camera has a smudge on the lenses

Looking good. I better not show my friend or he'll want it back. Congrats on a good buy.

What all in one did you use, and any tips for polishing the vinyl. Mines about due for a deep cleaning for this year.

You dodged a bullet, was intending on heading up to see after I finished work but UB had already posted it was gone. Hell of a good buy, great looking car.

I used HD Speed. I've been dabbling with it a bit and it works quite well. I really should get out the fg400 from Menzerna but I just didn't have the patience today. I use zero pressure when on the vinyl and take my time not to go too hard at it.
