#4 or 5 lost track , 06gtpony helped me track down a Ford alt , removed sanded cleaned grounds , shot in the dark removed sequentials went back to stock , fingers crossed . Still yet to instal my volts gauge maybe tomorrow ill give it a shot .

Do the rebuids have the proper pulley installed? Maybe overspinning is eating them up.
Never occurred to me to check ... this one is a Ford rebuild hopefully all goes well .
Fingers crossed for ya. Grounds are well known to cause odd issues on the 197.
Big wrenching for me , next a Volts gauge and I'm on my way to modding , ready to drop a 4.6 in it next lol
