Florida doesn't make one big enough to house the 5" tach, speedo and other gages. Currently have a triple vent and dual pillar pod as well as a loose column mount AFR.
Have a spare OEM IP housing that will be cut in half, made bigger and wrapped / stitched in leather next year
Honestly I had a dual pillar, dual vent and 2 on the cowl plus a tach and shift light. Never again. First you cannot read them all anyway while driving and some are useless (if on a blower car you notice no fuel pressure at WOT usually you are wayyyy to late).
I think it is nice to keep factory guages and maybe a couple key ones like oil temp maybe oil pressure. My .02 anyway I think interiors look cleaner with just a few gauges - the florida 5oh is the best of both worlds. I do like the gauge cage idea and steering column like Rick's.
Here is the instrument panel I built for my 86 SVO clone back in 1992 when the OEM tach and temp gages died.
Made this using real carbon fiber (on a backboard), full Autometer Sport Comp mechanical gage package; Fuel pressure on cowl.
Would like something like this in the fox one day.. one day waaay down the road.
