It's official, Petty's Garage is working once again with Ford Motor Company to release three new Mustang GT "King" editions.

Stay tuned for more pictures with the new custom paint work. It will be worth waiting to see!

The 2015 Petty's Garage Mustangs were a huge success and a lot of fun for us.
We built a total of 143 Mustang GTs for 2015.
For 2016 we're upping our game and building a total of 300 limited edition Petty's Garage Mustang GTs;
243 Mustang King GTs, 43 Mustang King Premiers, and 14 King Premier Convertibles.

The transformation starts under the hood with the Ford 5.0 liter V8 modified with a Ford Performance supercharger adding 235 horsepower to make a total of 670 horsepower.
Other power train modifications include custom engine calibration, a cold air intake, and a Magnaflow exhaust system.
As if that wasn't enough, an optional Level 2 upgrade uses a smaller supercharger pulley and Ford racing calibration to make 727 horsepower.
To make it even better, the cars are backed by a Ford 3 year, 36,000 mile limited power train warranty.**

Keeping things in control are extreme duty "TrakPak" Ford Racing half-shafts, three-way adjustable front and rear sway bars, and a rear axle upgrade. Putting all that power to the ground is the job of custom matte-black Petty's Garage/HRE staggered 20"x9" front wheels and 20"x10" rear wheels with Continental Extreme Performance summer tires.

In addition to power and handling upgrades, the cars get an assortment of Petty's Garage appearance parts. These include a custom rear diffuser with custom center mounted exhaust designed by The King himself: Richard Petty.
The list goes on with a Petty's Garage shift knob, sill plates, floor mats, embroidered headrests, a NASCAR inspired rear spoiler and more.

The King Premier Edition goes even further with different HRE/Petty's Garage wheels, a big brake upgrade kit with six-pot calipers up front and four-pot calipers in the rear grabbing two-piece rotors, and a custom leather interior. Other exclusive features of the King Premier include a Petty's Garage/BASF custom tri-color stripe package in red, white, and Petty Blue covered in crushed and tumbled glass in clear coat. Body cladding is also painted Petty Blue with the same crushed and tumbled glass in clear coat.

Further options for all three editions include upgraded suspension bushings to minimize wheel hop, a coil-over racing suspension upgrade and the supercharger upgrade yielding 727 horsepower.

Now is the time to talk to your local Ford dealer and get your order in.

Pricing starts at $67,495 for the King Edition and $90,495 for the King Premier.
