Unreal experience through this Porsche Canada iRacing series. Never in a million years would I thought I was good enough or ever get the opportunity to do something like this. Super proud of myself for even doing something like this. Hard work always paysoff.
Last night I raced infront of a bunch of people at the Porsche Centre Oakville dealership... LIVE. The stress and anxiety was all worth it in the end.
I got off to a rough start getting use to the new equipment. Qualified P12... and was able to race all the way up to P6!
The entire night was amazing.
Big thanks to the men and woman at the Policaro Group for putting on such a cool event.
Big thanks to Alex Ellis , Daniel Morad, Juliano Romagnuolo & Justin Rehm for their support and coaching throughout this event and all events prior.
Here are some photo's of the setup and me behind the wheel!
Points are not finalized... but I am pretty certain I was able to get all the way back up to P6 in the Driver Championship... not too bad for my rookie year.
For not driving this GT4 Porsche cayman before... I will take it.
It is also looking like Oakville will finish P6 in the Team Championship
Big thanks to everyone for your kind words and best wishes throughout the season. Means alot to me.
Till next year

I know absolutely nothing about gaming, but how did that simulator setup compare to what you have at home?
I have the exact same wheel base, that was my own steering wheel that i brought.
The pedals in sim racing is the biggest thing, the feel of the brake pedal especially is where all the time is.
I arrived at 4:30 and the race was at 8, I spent all that time setting everything up as close as what I could get at home... its just alot of moving parts.
Overall, the equipment they provide was very high end, it's just the amount of times I have pushed my brake vs. theirs is the factor.
I'd do some things different for next time.
But in terms of pace, I was off probably half a second vs. what I could do at home. With how tight the field is, spec setup etc, that is a massive difference.
